• Productions Show ("The Rover") Biographies

To be completed by all members of "The Rover" cast & crew.
  • Formatting guidelines

Remember to speak in the third person, refer to crews as the title (Publicity) not as the crew (Publicity Crew), refer to grades as the word (sophomore) and NOT numeric form (10th grade), use semi-colons INSTEAD of comma's for lists of shows (Hay Fever; Constellations; and The Burn), and FULLY capitalize REAL names mentioned (DYLAN)— character names follow normal capitalization (Helena). You may add "chief" to your crew title (Publicity Chief). Lists will use the Oxford comma (an "and" after the comma in the final item of the list). Format the biography as best as you can— spelling and grammar mistakes can be fixed by Publicity Crew. Conform to the conventions of standard English (like it's SAT or ACT grammar).

The more well-formatted the biographies are, an easier job the Publicity Crew has.
  • Differences when referring to Clements Theatre

Thespian Troupe 3689 is the organization that determines if you are an "Honor Thespian" or "Officer." Clements Theatre Company is referring to the company (cast & crew) that works on the shows. Clements Theatre is the theatre club as a whole which encompasses the company and troupe.
  • Example biography from "Hay Fever"

BILLY FERNANDEZ (Simon Bliss, Film, Publicity, Set) is a senior at Clements High School thrilled to be a part of the Hay Fever family! You might’ve seen him act in The Comedy of Errors; Legally Blonde: The Musical; All My Sons; Almost, Maine; Arsenic and Old Lace; Sense and Sensibility; or any of his many other plays. He can’t wait for you all to see this show, and is excited to be on stage. He’d like to thank MR. MUNDY for the amazing opportunity, and thank the rest of the cast and crew for making every rehearsal a blast. He’d also like to thank his family for supporting him. He hopes you all sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
