I’m writing to ask you to take your name off Intro 943 and support Intro 937. We now know that the horse that bolted in the fatal carriage accident in June was almost certainly shocked by stray voltage by faulty underground cables. You were misled and pressured to sign on to the carriage-ban bill. With this new information, I urge you not to punish the blue-collar workers because Con Ed, the Central Parks Conservancy, and the city failed to inspect and maintain its underground power cables. Please support and schedule a hearing for Intro 937.
