1. SERVICES PROVIDED
The DJ agrees to provide professional audio/sound equipment, music curation, and entertainment services for the agreed event duration. Setup and soundcheck will begin approximately 60 to 90 minutes prior to the designated start time at no additional charge to the Client.
2. PAYMENT TERMS & RETAINER
Retainer: A non-refundable deposit/retainer is required upon signing this agreement to lock in and secure the date.
Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full on or before the event date prior to performance.
Overtime: Any performance time requested beyond the agreed end time will be billed at the DJ's standard hourly rate and must be paid at the time of the request.
3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Client Cancellation: If the Client cancels the event, the deposit remains non-refundable. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled event date will require payment of the full balance.
Rescheduling: If the event is rescheduled, the DJ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date subject to availability.
DJ Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the DJ is unable to perform due to severe emergency or illness, the DJ will make every effort to provide a qualified replacement DJ or issue a full 100% refund of all payments received, including the deposit.
4. VENUE & POWER REQUIREMENTS
The Client agrees to provide a safe, dry, level, and sheltered area for the DJ setup.
The Client must ensure access to a dedicated standard electrical outlet (110V/15A) within 20 feet of the performance area.
For outdoor events, adequate shelter from rain, moisture, and direct sunlight/heat must be provided to prevent equipment damage.
5. LIABILITY & SAFETY
The DJ is not liable for performance delays or interruptions caused by venue power failure, adverse weather, or unsafe conditions.
The DJ reserves the right to suspend performance if guest behavior poses a direct threat to personal safety or equipment damage.
6. ACCEPTANCE
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, provisions, and conditions outlined in this contract.
