• Compton Comics Expo — Press Access Pass Application

  • Compton Comics Expo welcomes credentialed members of the press with complimentary admission to our event.

    Press Access Passes are provided to active members of the media who meet our requirements below.

    Press Access Passes grant access to the show floor and panel rooms during regular show hours only. They do not allow you to bypass lines or offer special privileges related to seating, photos, or autographs.

    Please be polite, courteous, and respectful of our attendees, exhibitors, and anti-harassment policies at all times. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from the event.

    Carefully read all requirements and complete this form in full. Incomplete applications will be denied and that decision will be final.

    A maximum of 4 individuals per outlet will be approved.

    When applying for a press pass you must fall into one of the following categories:

    • Broadcast (TV or Radio)
    • Print (Newspaper daily, weekly or monthly, Magazine monthly, weekly, quarterly, semiannual and annual)
    • Online/Digital (Newspapers/Magazines/Channels/Internet News & Coverage Sites)
    • Podcast
    • Blogger
    • Photographers must submit 4 links of photos published on sites that meet our minimum outlet criteria:
      Facebook - 5,000 Followers/Friends/Likes
      Twitter/X - 5,000 Followers
      Instagram - 5,000 Followers
      Youtube - 5,000 Subscribers
    • Content Creators/YouTubers Social Media Accounts on their own do not qualify you for a press pass unless at least one of your accounts meet the minimum criteria:
      Facebook - 5,000 Followers/Friends/Likes
      Twitter/X - 5,000 Followers
      Instagram - 5,000 Followers
      Youtube - 5,000 Subscribers
      Twitch - 5,000 Followers/Subscribers
    • Outlets must be operating for a minimum of 12 months and you must submit 2 published stories relating to pop culture. 
    • NOTE: If you are a freelancer you must submit 2 published stories written within the last 12 months (they can be posted to different sites that relate to pop culture).

    If you are submitting more than one application for an outlet they must be submitted individually on the same day. We allow a maximum of 4 individuals (writer or photographer) per outlet based upon your needs.

    The Organizers and Compton Comics Expo reserve the right to approve or deny press passes to any outlet.
    All decisions are final.
    Approved Press Access Passes will be picked up at press registration when you arrive.

  • Please read and agree to the following before submitting your application.

    • Press credentials are complimentary and non-transferable. Sharing, loaning, or selling your press credentials will result in immediate revocation and loss of future press access.
    • Press Access Passes grant access to artist alley, press room, mainstage area and panel rooms during regular show hours only.
    • Press do not receive special privileges related to lines, seating, photo ops, or autographs.
    • All press must adhere to the Compton Comics Expo Harassment Policy and Code of Conduct at all times.
    • Approval of a press pass application does not guarantee approval for future CCE events.
    • All decisions made by the Compton Comics Expo are final.
