Knight Lites is an outdoor lighting company in the Tampa, Florida area hiring seasonal Christmas Light Installers for the upcoming 2026 holiday season.
This is a hands-on, outdoor job installing professional Christmas lighting on residential and commercial properties. No prior Christmas-lighting experience is required as we provide training.
We're looking for dependable people who work hard, aren't afraid of heights, take pride in their work, and can work well as part of a 2-3 person crew.
PAY :
Installer: Starting at $20/hour, depending on experience
Lead Installer: Starting at $23/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability to lead and complete jobs as expected
Additional production/performance bonuses may be available based on individual and crew performance.
There may also be opportunities for paid takedown work in January after the installation season, with compensation based on the difficulty and scope of the takedown.
SCHEDULE :
● Seasonal position: October–December/January
● Part-time: 20+ hours/week when work is available
● Opportunity to increase to 30–40+ hours/week as our installation schedule grows
● Weekend and weekday availability preferred
● Peak season may require long days and 6-day workweeks
● Exact hours will vary based on our installation schedule
We’re intentionally building our crew from within. Strong installers who demonstrate reliability, safety, quality, leadership, and the ability to work independently may have the opportunity to become Lead Installers and take responsibility for 2-3 person crews.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
● Install Christmas lighting on residential and commercial properties
● Work on ladders, roofs, and occasionally trees or lifts
● Hang, clip, staple, and secure light strands along rooflines and structures
● Carry and organize ladders, lights, cords, and installation equipment
● Test and troubleshoot lighting installations
● Maintain a clean, professional work area
● Work safely and respectfully around customers’ homes and property
● Work as part of a 2-3 person installation crew

Training
No experience with Christmas lighting is required. Knight Lites will provide paid training covering our installation process, equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards.
