  • The North York Lions House League is a fun, competitive, and development-focused basketball program designed for boys and girls ages 4-14 who want to learn the game, improve their skills, and experience organized team basketball.

Our House League goes beyond simply showing up and playing games. Players receive structured instruction throughout the season, with an emphasis on building strong basketball fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and an understanding of how the game is played.

Each session combines skill development, team concepts, and competitive gameplay, allowing athletes to immediately apply what they are learning in a game environment.

    Players will work on:

    • Ball handling and dribbling
    • Shooting and finishing
    • Passing and decision-making
    • Footwork and movement
    • Individual and team defense
    • Basketball IQ and game concepts
    • Teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship

Our coaches focus on teaching the game the right way, encouraging effort, accountability, confidence, and good habits both on and off the court.

Whether your child is new to organized basketball, looking to build confidence before transitioning to Rep basketball, or simply wants to play and develop in a structured environment, our House League provides a great place to grow.

Learn the game. Build confidence. Compete. Have fun. The Lions way!
