Creative Brief
Good work starts with a good brief. Tell us what you need, what it should do, and what you already know. We will ask about the rest.
Section 01: Who are you?
The basics. Who we are talking to, and who signs off.

What should this project achieve?
Hint: Not what you want made. What you want it to do. What changes if this works? e.g. "We need our onboarding flow to feel less intimidating. Users drop off at step 3."

Section 03: Creative direction
What should this feel like? References, constraints, and anything we should know before we start thinking.
Style and tone
*
Hint: Describe the visual feel you are after. Specific adjectives help more than genre labels. "Restrained, dark, with a clean type hierarchy" is useful. "Modern and clean" is not. e.g. "Minimal but with weight. Dark palette. Brutalist typography. Think less Apple, more Porsche."
Visual references
*
Hint: Links to anything that captures what you are imagining. Competitors you admire, campaigns you envy, even things you hate (knowing what to avoid is just as useful). Paste URLs, describe screenshots, or tell us what caught your eye recently.
Do's and don'ts
Hint: Anything we should make sure to include or specifically avoid? e.g. "Must include the new tagline. Avoid red. Never use stock photography."
Do you have existing brand guidelines?
*
Yes, full guidelines
Some assets, no formal guide
We are building them now
No, starting fresh

About AI in our process
Some of our work uses AI-assisted techniques alongside traditional design methods. This affects IP ownership and is covered in our terms. We ask about this upfront so there are no surprises later.
Are you comfortable with AI-assisted elements in the project?
*
Yes, no concerns
Depends on the use case
Traditional methods only
Need to discuss further

Scope of direction
Hint: What are you looking for? Campaign creative direction, visual system design, a single-asset concept, or something else? e.g. "Creative direction for a 3-month social campaign across Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. We need a visual system, not individual posts."
Anything else technically relevant?
Hint: File size limits, platform constraints, accessibility requirements, existing systems we need to integrate with. e.g. "File must stay under 1MB for Telegram. Needs to work on dark and light backgrounds."
