Before you plan for 2027, take a few minutes to see where you already have clarity. There are no wrong answers. This is a starting point for your Strategic and Operational Planning. Make sure to check the bottom of the form for your results!
  • Who You Are

  • Does your organization have a clearly written mission, vision, and set of core values?*
  • How many of five employees could state the company's mission in their own words?*
  • When did your organization last revisit or update its mission, vision, or core values?*
  • How You're Doing

  • How confident are you in the organization's current understanding of its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT)?*
  • How aligned are departments right now?*
  • Can employees see how their individual role connects to bigger organizational goals?*
  • Where You're Going

  • Does your organization currently have a written strategic plan for the next 1–3 years?*
  • How is progress toward goals tracked and made visible to the team?*

  • 34–42 Strong Foundation
It sounds like your organization has real clarity around your mission, alignment, and where you're headed. A planning session at this stage isn't about starting from scratch, it's about sharpening the plan you already have and making sure the whole team is rowing in the same direction for 2027.

  • 26–33 Solid Progress
You've got real pieces in place, but there are gaps between what leadership knows and what the rest of the team feels day to day. A planning session would help close those gaps and turn what's already working into a plan the whole organization can rally around.

  • 18–25 Building Blocks
It sounds like the foundation is still taking shape. That's common, and it's not a bad place to start. A planning session can help you get mission, vision, and priorities defined clearly enough that the rest of the organization can actually see and use them.

  • 10–17 Getting Started
Right now the clearest opportunity is building the foundation itself. Mission, vision, and core values are worth defining before or alongside a full planning session, so the strategy you build sits on something solid.
