VACATION: A minimum of four (4) weeks is required, with a fifth week aftrer 20 years of ordination
STUDY LEAVE: A minimum of two (2) weeks is required
FAMILY LEAVE: A minimum of twelve (12) paid weeks is required
SABBATICAL: Three (3) months after six (6) years of ministry is required for continuous pastoral relationships.
TRANSITIONAL/INTERIM: Two (2) months at the end of service if staying until settled pastor is identified.
ADDITIONAL leave may be negotiated as needed/desired

Effective Salary Elements

2. Housing Allowance or Manse Offset
If a congregation provides housing then the effective salary must include a Manse Offset. The amount included shall be at least 30% of all other compensation included in total effective salary
3. Defined Compensations (403(b))
Any contributions in addition to the cash salary to an income protection plan, like a 403(b). Contributions elected as pre-tax investments by the pastoral leader are not included

The total effective salary must meet or exceed the $67,500 (2027) presbytery minimum. The total of lines 1-3 form the basis for any Board of Pensions dues-based programs and are subject to income tax as appropriate

BOARD OF PENSIONS PACKAGES

Covenant Package, Congregational Pastors Package, Transitional Pastors Participation, Post-Retirement Dues, Dependent Coverage, and Medical Plan a la carte menu. A la carte menu pricing is regionally-based. ENTER "0" if not applicable.
6. Covenant Package Only: 10% of Effective Salary, line 4 (Enter calculated amount)
Income Protection Coverage= Pension, Death & Disability, and is included in the congregational pastors package and recommended for all temporary pastoral leaders
7. Congregational Pastors Package: 29.75% of Effective Salary, line 4 (Enter calculated amount; $7,500 minimum/$21,200 maximum)
Includes 19.75% dues for Member-only PPO medical coverage plus 10% for the income protection benefits included in the Covenant Package. Required for all Installed pastors and an option for all other pastors leaders serving at leastr 20 hrs/week. Minimum medical dues $7,500; Maximum medical dues $21,200 based on 19.75% of Effective Salary)
8. Dependent Coverage: (Available as a supplement to the Congregational Pastors Package; select one as presbytery requirement. Includes 50% subsidy for children in 2027)

Minimum $4,000 to be used for all professional expenses including continuing education. Unused Professional Expenses shall roll over for up to three years

Cost of other medical options as negotiated, either as reimbursements or as part of hte overall terms of call
