𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪
Held 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, at Cité du Sport in Terrebonne, Québec—just outside Montreal—NHLKIDS is an 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 featuring high-level AAA and AA talent from North America, Europe and beyond.
Players register individually and are evaluated for admission into a selective international draft pool.
Accepted players join one of 𝟭𝟮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. Rosters are assembled through the official NHLKIDS virtual draft, with each team assigned a General Manager and coach.
From training camp through the regular season, All-Star Game, Skills Competition, playoffs and championship, every stage reflects the structure and intensity of professional hockey. Players are outfitted in full professional-style team uniforms throughout the tournament.
Games are professionally produced, broadcast and livestreamed worldwide. Tournament media coverage also includes highlights, player interviews, recaps and original content.
Bringing together international-level competition and a high-volume game schedule, 𝗡𝗛𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹, 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲.

NHLKIDS welcomes eligible players aged:
• 15 years old
• 14 years old
• 13 years old
The tournament follows a high-performance, 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁 that emphasizes skill, speed and competitive play while helping reduce the risk of injury throughout the nine-day event.
𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟭𝟱-𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥-𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦
New players who are 15 must still be 15 at the time of the tournament in July.
Returning NHLKIDS players who are 15 when registering but will be 16 by the tournament may be considered for one final year of eligibility. They must register before their 16th birthday, and final-year participation remains subject to approval.

𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
Players are classified by age and level to support balanced, competitive rosters:
• Senior
• Junior
• Sophomore
AHLKIDS prospects are classified as 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 within the Fresh Ice Hockey development system.

𝗔𝗛𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗠 𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗨𝗣𝗦
AHLKIDS serves as the official development and farm system for NHLKIDS. Freshman players compete in AHLKIDS while being evaluated for future advancement.
In exceptional cases, a high-level 12-year-old AHLKIDS player may be considered for an NHLKIDS call-up. AHLKIDS begins 48 hours before NHLKIDS and overlaps with it for 24 hours, allowing NHLKIDS staff, General Managers and coaches to evaluate prospects in person.
A call-up may be offered when a player demonstrates the required level and an NHLKIDS roster position becomes available. Exceptional status is not guaranteed.

𝗣𝗥𝗘-𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
New players must submit at least 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀. The footage is used to determine acceptance into the NHLKIDS draft pool.
Once accepted, players are classified and ranked by the evaluation team and General Managers to support competitive, balanced rosters.
Returning players are not required to submit new footage.

Use the player’s 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 and include the player’s 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 for identification.
Short shifts or game sequences are preferred. Full games and lengthy recordings are not required.
Footage may be submitted through:
• Email attachments, sent together or separately if the files are too large
• A Google Drive or Dropbox link with viewing permissions enabled
• A public hockey-focused Instagram account containing at least five short game clips
• A GRAET App profile containing game footage, performance information and player evaluations
Players may create a dedicated hockey Instagram account to organize their footage, but this is optional.
𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀, as they may expire during the evaluation period.

𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗘𝗘: $𝟭,𝟮𝟬𝟬
A 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 $𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 is required when the registration form is submitted. Registrations received without a deposit will not be reviewed.
The deposit does not guarantee acceptance into NHLKIDS.
• If the player is accepted into NHLKIDS, the deposit will be deducted from the final NHLKIDS invoice.
• If the player is not accepted into NHLKIDS, the player 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗛𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦, and the deposit will be applied to the AHLKIDS invoice.
The remaining balance will be invoiced once participation is confirmed.

NHLKIDS is not a mandatory stay-and-play tournament. Participants may select the accommodation that best suits their needs.
Players attending training camp on July 10 are encouraged to check in on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟵 and check out on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟵.

Approximately 15 minutes from the arena.
A preferred group rate has been arranged for tournament participants. The hotel offers a hot breakfast, athlete-friendly snacks and refreshments, including Gatorade.
Group booking information will be provided by the administration team.
Participants may also compare rates through Expedia or explore nearby Airbnb accommodations. For an extended stay, an Airbnb may provide additional space, kitchen access and other convenient amenities.
