Eligibility requirements and attestation
To be eligible, the nominee must:
- Be an NCRA member in good standing (Registered, Participating, Retired Registered, Retired Participating, or Retired Lifetime Member)
- Have demonstrated altruistic behavior — unselfish regard for or devotion to the welfare of others
- Have worked as a captioner or court reporter for at least 25 years
