God’s Pit Crew is SO excited to partner with South Boston Speedway to host a Food Box Giveaway! These food boxes will provide families in our community with a generous box of food filled with nutritious ingredients and recipes to help create delicious, filling meals.
Thank you for considering volunteering for this special giveaway at South Boston Speedway! We are so grateful for your willingness to serve and help make this event possible.
Please review all of the information below before signing up to volunteer. If you are signing up multiple people, please submit the form individually for each person. Please do not leave names in the comments.
DATE: Saturday, September 19th, 2026
TIME: Volunteers must arrive at the speedway by 7:00AM. Breakfast and coffee will be provided! The event will take place from 8AM - 12PM (or until product runs out!)
LOCATION: South Boston Speedway - 1188 James D. Hagood Highway, South Boston, VA 24592
REQUIREMENTS:
- You MUST be 16 years or older to participate in this event.
- You MUST be able to meet the physical requirements for the job you have selected.
- Please wear a RED God's Pit Crew volunteer shirt. If you do not have one, please wear any appropriate red shirt.
- If you or someone in your group is a non-registered volunteer, you can click the link, print and complete the Volunteer Waiver form for each person. If you do not have access to a printer, forms will be available. Arrive at a time to allow completion of the paperwork (one page form).
Breakfast & coffee will be available for volunteers upon arrival! Once you arrive, you will receive your job assignment and we will have a short meeting to explain what you wil be doing before beginning the Food Box Giveaway. Please be PROMPT. This is an exciting opportunity to serve the community and we are honored that you have decided to volunteer with us!
