Purpose of ID Document Upload

PASSPORT requirements: Must be valid for at least 6 months after your cruise or other travel type ends.

Closed-Loop Cruises (Round-trip from the same U.S. port): If your cruise starts and ends in the same U.S. port and visits the Caribbean, Bahamas, or Alaska, you can use a state-certified original birth certificate (no hospital or "baby feet" copies) PLUS a valid government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license).

NOTE: It's highly recommend to use PASSPORT option for "Closed-loop cruises" in the event of an emergency or other reason that you would need to fly back to the USA. You would need a PASSPORT to fly from Bahamas and other Caribbean island countries as this is international air travel.

Name Changes: If your name changed due to marriage or divorce, bring your marriage certificate or divorce decree alongside your matching IDs.

Children 17 and under generally do not need a photo ID if using a state-certified original birth certificate. If a minor travels without both legal guardians, a notarized parental consent form is required. Please check with your travel supplier for specific policy on children under 18 years of age.
