• HRS Family Association Volunteer Opportunities

    2026-2027 School Year

  • The mission of the HRS Family Association (FA) is to promote belonging, participation, education, and awareness for the families attending Hamlin Robinson School. To accomplish this mission, we need you!

    Please look through the options below and sign-up for the volunteer opportunities that work for you. Thank you!

  • Grade of your student(s) in the 2026-2027 school year (please check all that apply)*

  • Parent Rep Co-Leads

    We need two volunteers per grade level. This role has been revised for the 2026-2027 school year.

  • In this role, you will:

    • Serve as a point of contact for the parents at your student's grade level.
      • Support teachers in tasks, such as organizing field trip drivers, etc. (grades 1 - 5 only)
      • Send grade-specific communications to the school-provided parent email list.
    • Welcome and serve as a resource for new HRS families.
    • Attend Family Association meeting when possible (6 per school year).
    • Promote HRS Eagle Meet-Ups and school events as opportunities for community building.
  • Are you willing to be a Parent Rep Co-Lead?

  • Back to School Bash

    This year's event is on Tuesday, September 1 from 3:30 - 5:30pm at Hamlin Robinson School.

  • HRS Families kick off the school year at this come-and-go event - playing carnival games, visiting school resource booths, seeing friends, meeting ew people, and having fun!

    We need 3 parents per shift to be present at the Family Association resource table - to meet and greet and share opportunities to engage with other parents. You will be joined by Jen Fukutaki, the Family Association Liaison.

  • Family Association Fall Parent Social

    This event is on Friday, October 23 from 4:00 - 5:30pm at Hamlin Robinson School.

  • The Fall Parent Social is open to all current HRS parents/guardians. Come as you are, enjoy appetizers and a mocktail, and get to know others in the HRS community. (HRS offers free after-care for enrolled HRS students to support this event.

    We need volunteers for several different roles. You will be supported by Jen Fukutaki, the Family Association liaison.

  • I am interested in helping with the Family Association Fall Parent Social. I am willing to help with the following job(s):

  • Teacher Appreciation: Family Association Sweet Shop

    This new event will take the place of the traditional December lunch. The Family Association will set up the Sweet Shop on Friday, December 11, at Hamlin Robinson School.

  • HRS Families can show their appreciation to the faculty and staff of Hamlin Robinson School by dropping off homemade treats in the morning (treat sign-ups will occur in November). Volunteers will assemble a Sweet Shop, where teachers can visit and fill boxes/bags with their chosen treats to enjoy now and later.

    We already have the parent lead coordinator for this event. But we will still need other volunteers.

  • I am willing to help with the Sweet Shop on Friday, December 11 at Hamlin Robinson School.

  • Teacher Appreciation: May Lunch - Sandwich and Salad Bar

    This event takes place during national Teacher Appreciation Week on Friday, May 7 at Hamlin Robinson School.

  • HRS Families can show their appreciation to the faculty and staff of Hamlin Robinson School by dropping off all the fixings for a sandwich and salad bar (food sign-ups will occur in April.) Volunteers will plan, gather, set up and clean up this meal. You will be supported by Jen Fukutaki the Family Association Liaison.
