  • A parent/caregiver consultation is typically 60–90 minutes. It provides time to review relevant developmental and medical history, talk through current concerns, and receive practical strategies and feedback. This is a paid consultation; Birdwalk will explain the fee, format, and scheduling before services are arranged.
  • A parent intensive is a focused three-hour session designed to help caregivers organize concerns, review existing information, and identify practical supports for home and school. Before the session, it may be helpful to think about what you would most like to discuss, such as understanding a diagnosis, aligning parenting or caregiving styles, learning about neurodiversity-affirming approaches, processing feelings associated with a diagnosis, or supporting emotional regulation and challenging behaviors. Birdwalk will explain the format, scope, and scheduling before services are arranged.

  • Which areas would you like support with? Select all that apply.
  • New occupational therapy clients begin with an assessment. If the person has had a comprehensive occupational therapy assessment within the past year, Birdwalk may review it to determine whether another assessment is needed. Other assessments may provide helpful context but do not replace an occupational therapy assessment.
