Educational Services
Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC provides Wild School as a nature-based educational enrichment program for home-educated students.
Tuition is charged for the instructional services, curriculum, educational activities, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences described in the program.
The program is not offered as an admission fee, recreational facility membership, or payment for general access to the property.
Parent Supervision
A parent or responsible adult must remain with the student throughout each class.
Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC does not provide drop-off childcare.
Parents are responsible for communicating relevant information regarding their child's needs and for supervising their child outside of direct instructor-led activities.
Outdoor Environment
Wild School takes place in an outdoor environment. Students may encounter natural terrain, insects, plants, wildlife, water, weather, uneven ground, and other conditions inherent to outdoor education.
Activities may be modified, relocated, postponed, or replaced when necessary because of weather, environmental conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances.
Safety
The program incorporates age-appropriate outdoor safety practices.
Students are expected to follow instructor directions and established safety rules.
Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC reserves the right to remove a student from an activity when the student is unable or unwilling to follow reasonable safety instructions.
Attendance
Students are expected to arrive on time and participate in scheduled instructional activities.
Because Wild School is a structured six-week educational program, missed classes are not guaranteed to be made up.
Weather
Because Wild School is an outdoor program, weather conditions may affect the day's activities.
When possible, instruction will be modified to accommodate weather conditions.
In the event that a class must be canceled for safety reasons, Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC will communicate the cancellation and any applicable rescheduling will be arranged with parents.
Refund Policy
Registration fees are: Non-refundable after registration
If a program is canceled by Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC, the provider will communicate the applicable refund, credit, or rescheduling option.
Scholarship Payments
Families using Step Up For Students scholarship funds are responsible for following all current scholarship rules and submitting required documentation.
Step Up For Students currently requires reimbursement documentation for a Home Education Instructional Program to include items such as the student's name, provider/course information, course description, service period, tuition/fees, and proof of payment.
Registration with Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC does not guarantee scholarship reimbursement. Families should confirm eligibility and funding requirements with Step Up For Students.
Faith-Based Perspective
Wilder Roots Gathering Grove LLC incorporates a Biblical worldview into its educational philosophy.
Students are encouraged to explore creation with curiosity, gratitude, stewardship, and respect while recognizing God as Creator, and Jesus Christ as our Messiah .
Participation does not require students to share the provider's personal religious beliefs, however participation means you understand our values and will remain respectful throughout the course.
