6. EMERGENCY-TREATMENT CONSENT
If I am injured or become unwell and I am unable to provide consent, I authorise Confetti Equestrian Appaloosas and its representatives to obtain first aid, ambulance transport and medical treatment considered reasonably necessary. 7. LESSON POLICIES
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled lesson start time incur 50% of the lesson fee. Cancellations made 1 hour or less before the scheduled start time, including non-attendance, incur 100% of the lesson fee.

SCHEDULING AND RESCHEDULING LESSONS
Lessons will be scheduled using our website booking system – you will be sent a text and email booking confirmation and a reminder on the morning of your lesson.
If for any reason you need to re-schedule your weekly lesson (not including cancellations), please provide as much notice as possible to us (3 days minimum). We aim to schedule weekly lessons on the same day and time each week to provide each rider and family with consistency and certainty, in addition to reducing the admin from our side. If we cannot accommodate your re-scheduling request, and it comes at short notice, we will not be able to provide a lesson and our cancellation policy may apply. We aim not to inconvenience our other families with their set lesson times each week.

SAFETY ATTIRE
Riders must wear a helmet, long pants, and enclosed footwear without laces and with a heel. A rider may be unable to participate if the required attire is not worn.

WET WEATHER
Whether a lesson proceeds in wet or unsuitable weather is at the provider's discretion. The rider will be advised on the morning of the lesson if it will proceed, be modified or be rescheduled. If the provider advises the lesson is proceeding and the rider cancels, the Cancellation Policy will apply.
"Young riders that attend weekly lessons may have theory or groundwork lessons under cover if there is unsuitable weather on the day of their lesson. We encourage young riders to attend these important days as horsemanship is more than just riding.
