ICLAS Financial Support Application – 2027
The International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) invites applications for financial support for laboratory animal science programs and activities to be held in 2027. Applications must be endorsed by an ICLAS member in good standing with membership fees. ICLAS supports initiatives that contribute to the advancement of laboratory animal science and benefit the widest possible audience within each region of the world. ICLAS welcomes and strongly encourages innovative ideas for activities, including new approaches and formats that align with its mission of promoting the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in research worldwide. Funding requests are reviewed and prioritized by the five ICLAS Regional Committees: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Requests of up to €2,000 may be submitted for initiatives with local impact. Requests for larger amounts may be considered for initiatives with broader regional or global impact. Applications will first be evaluated by the appropriate ICLAS Regional Committee. Each committee will recommend the most meritorious proposals to the ICLAS Governing Board, which will make the funding decisions. These decisions will subsequently be submitted to the ICLAS General Assembly for ratification. The call for funding applications is issued once a year.
