We are thrilled to invite you to join us September 6, 2026 from 10am-1pm for our first community gathering in our new home! This skillshare is collaborative, grassroots, and made possible by many loving and capable hands.
We are focusing on 3 main projects, which you can read full descriptions of here.
- Woodshed Renovation & Transformation: help take the unsafe, not-up-to-fire-code woodshed from a hazard to a beautiful outdoor gathering space. This team has many jobs, and there is room for all skill levels!
- Twin Cabin Transformation: Begin the process of transforming 2 abandonded sheds into spaces that may be used as lodging, writing studios, meeting spaces, or dry cabins. This project is in the very early stages, so plan to do some real foundational work with this one! This team has many jobs, and there is room for all skill levels!
- Trail Building: utilize hand tools to create, develop, widen, and restore trails across the many acres of our small forest home. This team has many jobs, and there is room for all skill levels!
2 weeks before the Skillshare, you will receive an email with more information about our teams, a dietary needs survey, and an opportunity to disclose your skills, deeper interest, and any tools you can bring from home!
The address is not public in order to protect our community's privacy and safety, and the exact location will be sent 1 week before the skillshare. For travel purposes, we are located about 10 miles west of Port Angeles, WA just beyond city limits!
