The Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for an At-Large position on the AADMD Board of Directors.
Please note that only Active AADMD members in good standing will be considered, and demonstrated involvement with AADMD committees, programs, or other organizational activities is strongly encouraged.
AADMD Board members are expected to actively contribute to the leadership and advancement of the organization. All Board members must attend monthly Board meetings via Zoom and the annual in-person Board meeting, submit monthly Board reports, and actively participate in appropriate programs and committees.
AT-LARGE BOARD MEMBER DETAILS & CRITERIA
- Must be an Active AADMD member in good standing
- Elected Board position – nominated by the Nominating Committee
- 2 year term
- Voting privileges: Yes
- Attends monthly AADMD Board meetings
- Attends annual in-person Board meeting
- Submits monthly Board reports
- Actively participates in AADMD committees, programs, and initiatives
- Demonstrated commitment to AADMD's mission and the advancement of healthcare for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Strong committee involvement and organizational engagement are a plus
- At-Large Board Members serve as representatives of the broader AADMD membership and are expected to bring their experience, perspective, and expertise to Board discussions, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities.

Board approval of candidate: October 19, 2026
At-Large Board Member begins term following Board approval.
