This is a one-day in-person workshop for Early Childhood Educators (working with children birth-5). Workshop will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 9AM to 4PM at 15220 92 Avenue, Surrey, BC.

Workshop will include:
- Practicing beginner American Sign Language (ASL) that can be used in your classroom
- Exploring barriers and facilitators for children with hearing differences
- Participating in immersive activities to obtain unique insight into supporting this population
This workshop will be most relevant to professionals who currently have a child in their classroom who is deaf/hard of hearing, though any Early Childhood Educator is welcome to register. A waitlist will be created if registration becomes full.
In the event that this workshop reaches registration capacity, priority will be given to those who are currently providing care for a deaf or hard of hearing child.
There will be a one-hour lunch break during the workshop. Participants can bring their own lunch or leave the premise to purchase lunch off-site. Please also note that all our centres are nut-free facilities.
