  • Harbour City Sport Dogs Presents - Toss & Fetch Worldwide Championships

  • Event Details

  • - The event will be held in a fully fenced field.

    - There will be 3 rounds of 60-second Toss & Fetch play, following normal Toss & Fetch rules.

    - Special awards will be given to the top 3 teams in each division.

    - Registration is only confirmed after payment is recieved

    - You will be emailed event information once your registration is confirmed

    - To qualify for World Wide Championships you must have played 3 weeks in any season in the past 12 months. 

    - If you do not qualify we are offering a Fun Run Division. Open to anyone who is new to Toss and Fetch and has not played in a league before.

    - $50 per entry (1 handler and 1 dog), Fun Run $30 per entry (1 handler and 1 dog).

  • Entry Fee $50 (Fun Run $30)

    $50 per form entry, covering one handler and one dog.

    Payment is Due immediately after Registration form is submitted

    Day of Entries may be allowed but not guaranteed $50 ($30 Fun Run) per dog and handler.

    FUN RUN $25 - New teams who do not qualify for worldwide championships but want to try out Toss and Fetch can play in the fun run division. See premium for more details.

    In the e-transfer message, please note your name and your dog's name. One e-transfer per dog, please.

    Refund Policy

    No refunds. If there is an exceptional circumstance accompanied by a written doctor's or veterinarian's note, a 50% refund may be provided at the discretion of the event coordinator.

    • The person who signs this agreement represents that he/she is authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of both the participant and the owner of the participating dog(s).  

      Harbour City Sport Dogs reserves the right to deny or refuse a dog because of a safety issue with other dogs or persons. Dogs will be denied for people or dog aggression or physical illness/injury. We reserve the right to excuse without refund of fees from any person for what Harbour City Sport Dogs its owners, agents, and officers, and members deem excessive harshness. We reserve the right to excuse without refund of fees any person for what we deem as aggressive or abusive behaviour towards another person or dog

      Participant/Owner(s) certifies that any and every dog they bring to this site, whether participating or not, is not a hazard to persons, dogs, or property and assume all responsibility, liability and expenses resulting from damages caused by their dog(s).

      All Dogs entering or exiting the playing field must be on a 6-foot leash.  No retractable leashes or e-collars are allowed on or in the Playing Field. Participant agrees to maintain full control over his/her dog and accepts full responsibility.

      All Dogs and Handlers/owners/participants must maintain a 10-foot distance between other dogs and handlers.

      All Dogs are to be kept in a travel kennel or secured in a vehicle when not on the playing field.

      All Dogs should be kept under control and calm, avoiding excess barking to not disturb the peace of the neighboring homes and community.  Including but not limited to while in a vehicle and/or in the playing vacinity.

      Participant recognizes the inherent risk associated with participation in dog activities and realizes that a dog is a creature capable of and given to independent action. Participant assumes the entire risk and responsibility for property damage and personal injury, harm, or death that may occur to themselves or any guest they bring with them as a result of the actions or inactions of participant, another person, or certain canine behaviors included, but not limited to, biting, knocking over, jumping upon, transmittable diseases, or unpredictable reactions whether caused by participant’s dog or the dogs of other participants.

      Participant agrees to fully release and forever discharges Harbour City Sport Dogs, and its associated person(s), captain, co-captain, their agents, officers, members, and participants, from any and all claims for loss, damage or injury to your dog(s). This encompasses while participating in any and all activities provided including (but not limited to) events, practice, or any other services or activities on the chosen premises. Participant affirms that his/her dog is current on all required vaccinations. This includes Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, and Bordetella(optional).

      Your dog(s) must be free from infections, parasites, and contagious or transmissible diseases.

      BIS may play but must wear panties and the owner/handler must notify the team captain.

      Participant/Owner understands that all of the above stated materials are the sole property of Harbour City Sport Dogs and hereby the participant/owner further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Harbour City Sport Dogs and its officers, members, employees, and successors harmless from and against any and all present and future claims, demands, actions, right of action (at law or in equity) because of any injury (including death) or damage to person or property arising out of Participant’s participation in the activities.

      Participant/Owner(s) acknowledge all hazards, including but not limited to, the condition of grounds, bodies of water, security, measures or lack of, electrical appliances, fittings, parking areas, fences or the ability for a dog to escape from the site area, the presence of unfamiliar animals and people, the possibility of another ill animal or your own getting ill; participant and owner(s) assume the risk of any harm arising from and any and all of these including allowing their dog(s) to run wearing collars, stop pad protectors, bitch in season pants, or any similar items. Everyone must be very careful to watch their dog(s) on the property, clean up after yourself and your dog(s).

      This agreement shall remain in effect forever.
