  • TEAM REQUIREMENTS- 

    • Provide a source of power if needed.
    • Prepare enough food for 50 plates. Containers and utensils will be provided.
    • Obtain a 1–3 Day Temporary Food Permit and follow Eddy County Health Department guidelines. All competitors must have a provision for hand washing as well as other Eddy County Health Department guidelines.     • Please submit completed applications to nicolevalencia@mec.com
    • Teams must clean, prepare, and cook their entry on site. Meat must be held on ice at 40°F or less prior to cooking; other ingredients/sides must be kept in separate coolers.
    • Once cooked, hold cooked items at 140°F or higher.
    • Five plates for the judges must be delivered to the Library by 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 26.
    • Teams are responsible for cleaning their area. Trash bags will be provided.
