Dear Photographer,

Thank you for entering Decagon territory. Before you submit your work, we'd like to ask for a few small things. They help us spend less time solving technical issues and more time with what matters most—your photographs.

Tell us in your own words.

We hope you'll answer these questions yourself. No AI can tell us what these photographs mean to you, why you made them, or why you chose to share them. We'd much rather read a few honest sentences from you than a perfect answer from a machine.

Before uploading, make sure your files are...

at least 2100 pixels on the long side but no larger than 5,000 pixels
saved as JPG, JPEG, or PNG
named FirstName-LastName_Title (for example: Kate-Smith_Sunset.jpg)

(As much as we'd love to, we probably can't exhibit a photograph titled: final_final_REALfinal2.jpg.)

Unfortunately, we won't be able to review files that don't meet these requirements, and we'd hate to see a wonderful photograph missed because of something so easy to fix.

Clean images only.

Please don't include watermarks, logos, signatures, borders, frames, or text on your photographs. We'd like every submission to be judged only by the photograph itself.

I confirm that the photographs are my own work and do not infringe upon the copyright of others.

If selected, I give Decagon Gallery permission to exhibit my photographs online, include them in exhibition catalogues, and use them to promote Decagon Gallery exhibitions and programs across its website, social media, newsletters, and promotions. Copyright remains with the photographer.

I have read and agree to Decagon Gallery's Terms of Use.

I understand that my email address will be added to the Decagon Gallery mailing list. I can unsubscribe at any time.

I confirm that the photographs I am submitting are my own work and have not been substantially created using Artificial Intelligence. AI-assisted editing(such as minor object removal or image extension) is acceptable. The final decision regarding eligibility rests with Decagon Gallery and the exhibition juror.

I would like my photographs to be considered for future Decagon Instagram features, including Curator's Picks. I understand that my work will only be shared with my permission. (Optional)
