Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability I acknowledge that participation in Weed Whacking Day involves physical activity and potential hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, and exposure to environmental conditions. I certify that I am at least 18 years old. I agree to follow all safety instructions, wear appropriate clothing and protective equipment, and exercise caution while using tools or equipment. I understand that I am encouraged to bring my own equipment; if I borrow equipment from the organizer, I will use it responsibly. Release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Habitat for Humanity Calaveras, its volunteers, officers, agents, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for any loss, damage, injury, or expense (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation in this event, whether caused by the negligence of the released parties or otherwise. Emergency Contact and Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, I authorize event organizers to seek medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so.
