Second Saturday Serve

Every Second Saturday of the month, we roll up our sleeves to make an impact in the hearts and lives of our neighbors because that’s what the Church does. Whether it is donating needed items at our monthly food drive (or serving at the food drive), loving our neighbors through yard or house work, or walking through and praying over our neighbors where they live; we LOVE like Jesus by consistently showing up and serving others.

Serve at the Food & Product Drive

No one should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. In Hamilton County, more than 123,000 people are food insecure, and we get to do something about it. This is our chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus—stepping into the gap through food and product drives, pantry partnerships, meal-packing events like Hands Against Hunger, and other real-world ways to bring hope to families across Cincinnati. Serve Neighbors in Avondale

Every Second Saturday MCC comes together and serves as a church alongside UC Students, and with our neighbors both near and far. We partner with local organizations and churches for several serving opportunities throughout Avondale, as we serve the community and schools through various projects. All projects are family-friendly (unless noted otherwise) and safe. MCC has been called to Love like Jesus in Avondale and to share the Gospel as His disciples, while serving as His hands' and Feet. TIME: 8:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with Lunch & Fellowship at Noon

LOCATION: Meet at Compassionate Justice (carpooling available if needed)

Serve Neighbors Near MCC

MCC comes together and serves as a church to love our neighbors and MCC partners. Projects vary from yard beautification, clean-ups, home repair, or other projects that bless our neighbors. Safe for students, families, and seniors.

TIME: Check-In at 8:45 a.m., Serving 9 a.m.- Noon (Lunch to Follow @ Noon)

LOCATION: 4221 Malsbary Rd. Blue Ash, OH 45242.

Project Details: We will be serving alongside an MCC mission partner helping to beautify their property to make it more welcoming to the broader community.

Serve on the Prayer Walking team

Every second Saturday of the month, we serve our neighbors by literally walking through their neighborhood and praying for and over them. We believe that prayer changes things and if God allows us to talk with and pray with our neighbors, then we want to position ourselves for that to happen!
