Camper Conditions of Use
1. Eligibility and Assigned Space. The Primary Camper must be at least 18 years old. A person under 18 may camp only with a parent or legal guardian who signs this form and remains responsible for that person. All tents, camp trailers, vehicles, equipment, and personal property must remain within the assigned Campground Space. If everything does not fit, an additional space is required. Alteration or damage to a site is prohibited and may result in damage or restoration charges.
2. Pets and Service Animals. Pets and other animals are prohibited. Only service animals that qualify for access under applicable law are permitted. The handler is responsible for the animal’s control, care, waste removal, and any damage. CAM-PLEX may require removal when permitted by applicable law.
3. Quiet Hours. Quiet hours begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the applicable public performance and continue until 8:00 a.m., or during another period established by CAM-PLEX for the Event. Amplified music, excessive vehicle noise, shouting or loud conversation, and other sound that unreasonably disturbs another person are prohibited during quiet hours.
4. Generators. Only quiet generators may operate, and only from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A generator must be operated outdoors in a well-ventilated location; away from tents, vehicles, structures, doors, windows, and air intakes; with exhaust directed away from people and neighboring sites; and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable code. The owner is solely responsible for the generator. Only manufacturer-approved exhaust, noise-control, grounding, and connection methods may be used.
5. Smoking and Vaping. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in CAM-PLEX buildings, outdoor facilities, stalls, and all other areas except a location expressly designated by CAM-PLEX for smoking.
6. Fire and Cooking. Campfires, firepits, charcoal grills, and open-flame cookers are prohibited. The only campground cooking exception is a small portable propane grill using a cylinder no larger than 20 ounces. It must be attended, used safely outdoors, and extinguished after use. CAM-PLEX or the fire code official may prohibit any flame or cooking device because of weather, code, location, or safety conditions.
7. Parking and Emergency Access. Vehicles must be parked within the assigned Campground Space or in designated parking. Additional vehicles must use the parking area designated by CAM-PLEX. Roads, fire lanes, hydrants, gates, access routes, and utility areas must remain unobstructed at all times. Signage and CAM-PLEX traffic directions must be followed.
8. Trash, Property, and Site Condition. Trash disposal is governed by City of Gillette. Only securely bagged and tied household-type refuse may be placed in a designated CAM-PLEX dumpster. Cardboard may be placed in a dumpster only when permitted by CAM-PLEX; it must be flattened and fully contained below the top so the container can close. No waste may be left beside or protrude from a container. Metal, automobile parts, bicycles, LP or propane tanks, compressed-gas cylinders, oil, vehicle fluids, tires, batteries, appliances, construction material, glass panes, furniture, hazardous waste, or bulky items are prohibited. The Camper must remove all tents, grills, equipment, furnishings, vehicles, prohibited waste, and personal property by the required departure time. Abandoned property, excess cleaning, damage, and restoration are subject to published CAM-PLEX Policies and may include additional Charges to the User.
9. Wastewater. Gray water, black water, sewage, wash water, and any other wastewater may not be dumped on CAM-PLEX grounds or into a storm drain, floor drain, sink, toilet, or other unauthorized location. Wastewater may be discharged only through the assigned sewer hookup or another CAM-PLEX-approved location intended and legally authorized for that waste stream. Washing machines may not be used in Horse Stall Barn areas.
10. Vending. Vending, solicitation, advertising, and commercial activity are prohibited in the campground. A Camper may not sell goods, food, beverages, services, admissions, or campsite access in a Campground Space or campground Common Area.
11. Prohibited Items and Activities. The following are prohibited in the campground: fireworks or pyrotechnics; illegal substances; kegs; glass containers or bottles; external speakers other than a small personal Bluetooth speaker used in compliance with the noise rules; household furnishings, household refrigerators, or carpeting; drones or remote flying devices; scooters or skateboards; personal golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, electric bicycles, or similar recreational or mobility vehicles; and vehicle or equipment maintenance, repair, fluid changes, dismantling, body work, or glass replacement. Limited emergency work needed to remove a disabled vehicle is allowed with permission only. A disability-related mobility device permitted by law is not prohibited.
12. Compliance and Enforcement. The Camper is a Person Under User Control and must comply with the Lease, this policy, this Appendix, posted rules, the approved Event Plan, and directions issued by CAM-PLEX to address operational needs, safety, and security. CAM-PLEX may require immediate correction, deny or suspend access, remove a person, animal, vehicle, or item, or close a site for a violation, unsafe condition, emergency, code requirement, or facility operational need. The User remains responsible for its Campers and all resulting costs. CAM-PLEX may terminate or suspend campground use if a site becomes unsafe, destroyed, or unusable because of fire, weather, emergency, or another cause beyond reasonable facility control.
13. Risk, Property, and Indemnification. The Camper assumes the risk of injury, weather, road and curb conditions, theft, and loss of or damage to the Camper’s vehicle, RV, equipment, and other property, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Camper shall indemnify, save, defend, and hold harmless CAM-PLEX Management, the Campbell County Public Land Board, the City of Gillette, the Campbell County Commissioners, and their officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from the Camper’s occupancy, conduct, property, or violation of these Conditions of Use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Camper waives claims for damages or compensation arising solely from a lawful suspension or termination of campground use. Nothing in this form waives any governmental or sovereign immunity, defense, or limitation available under the Wyoming Governmental Claims Act or other law.
