Welcome to the Spirits of Mexico FestivalThe Spirits of Mexico Festival is a celebration of Mexican culture in its fullest form: the food, the agave spirits, the music, the dance, the art, and the people who carry these traditions forward. This is not a market or a food court. It is a cultural experience built to honor where these flavors come from and bring them to life for a large public audience here in Arizona.This year the festival turns toward Sonora, Mexico, with live fire cooking, the famous giant Sonoran tortilla made by hand, regional music, folklórico, and cultural performances most people in the Valley have never seen up close. Guests come for the full experience: free entry, free parking, family friendly all day, and a VIP experience for those who want to go deeper into the flavors and the spirits.Behind it is a growing movement. The festival works alongside cultural partners and regional media to put Mexican chefs, brands, artisans, and makers in front of a wide Arizona audience. Every year it grows. Every year it reaches further.For vendors, this is a stage, not a stall. We curate this event carefully, quality over quantity, because the experience has to match the story. If you are selected, you are not just renting a spot. You are part of something people will remember, and part of a festival building a name across the state.Take a few minutes to complete this application in full. Approval does not guarantee a spot. Requirements / Restrictions

BEFORE YOU APPLY —

Food Restrictions: No carne asada and no burritos for food vendors in the GA area. That's reserved for La Charolesa, who grills and sells there as the live show.
- AZ TPT / sales tax license with the City of Chandler added (code CH). The City verifies this. ALL VENDORS
- Maricopa County health permit: Mobile Food Unit (MFU) permit for trucks and trailers, or a Temporary Food Establishment permit for booths and tents. Need a one-day or temporary permit? - Completed City of Chandler Fire Department Food/Beverage Vendor Application (due October 2). Food & Beverage vendors
- Fire extinguishers: a Class K for oil or grease cooking, plus a 2A:10B:C (ABC) extinguisher for general cooking. All charged, tagged, with trained staff.
- Flame-retardant canopy or tent with the certification tag. Grill and open flame must stay outside the tent.
- Propane and LP-gas tanks secured upright and spaced per fire code.
- Non-combustible ground cover under all cooking equipment. No grease disposal on site.
- Trucks with fryers or a grill hood: a working hood suppression system with a current service tag.
- Handwashing setup for anyone handling food.
