By participating in the NAWIC Annual Conference Run/Walk Event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a run/walk event involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, and medical emergencies. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and event organizers from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liability arising out of or related to my participation in this event, including any injury, illness, death, or property damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Medical Acknowledgment
I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event. I have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation. I agree to seek immediate medical attention if needed and acknowledge that NAWIC is not responsible for providing medical care.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless NAWIC and its affiliates from any claims, costs, or expenses arising from my participation in this event.
Governing Law
This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held.
