Fintech Alliance will host the Paddle Forward Season 2 pickleball tournament. Below are the official rules, guidelines, and mechanics.

Event Overview

Date: October 24–25, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Venue: Astra Pickleball Center

Note: Astra Pickleball Center charge a door entrance fee of P100.00 per head for participants and non-participants.

Entry Fee: ₱1,500 per player (inclusive of tournament jersey and loot bags) *NON-REFUNDABLE

 

Category Matrix & DUPR Requirements

Alliance members can field one (1) pair per category. Individual player DUPR ratings must strictly match the thresholds below. No age requirements apply.

Category winner: Each category will battle out in the elimination, semifinals and finals to determine the Champion for each category

Points earned in these categories tally toward the Overall Alliance Championship.

• Lower-rated DUPR players can move up categories, but higher-rated players cannot move down categories.
• Non-rated players (NR) are not qualified to join.

 

Special Category

This category is scored separately. Points do not count toward the overall championship.

C-Suite Exhibition	Non-gender, no age limit, exclusive to company executices.

 

Point System & Overall Championship

Official Entries: Only Novice, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate Categories earn overall points.
Tallying: Points accumulate per match win and podium finish.
Category Champion : Winner of the category division
Overall Champion: The Alliance member company with the highest total points across all 9 official categories wins the grand trophy.
C-Suite Award: The C-Suite category features a standalone award and sponsored prize package.

Registration Process

Registration follows a Team/Group Registration format managed by a designated company representative.

Step-by-Step Registration

1. Appoint a Representative: One coordinator fills out the official master registration form for the company.
2. Gather Player jersey sizes, and required attachments for all players.
3. Submit Requirements: The representative uploads the following documents directly into the portal:
   Proof of Payment: Single or compiled transaction receipts for all registered players (₱1,500 x total number of players).
   DUPR Proof: Individual screenshots of the active DUPR rating profile for every player in the Novice, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate Categories.
   Confirmation: The committee will verify DUPR standings and email an official entry confirmation to the representative.

Prizes & Inclusions

Player Package: Tournament shirt and  Fintech loot bags.
Podium Finishers: Custom tournament medals and sponsored prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Paddle Forward 2026 which will be held on October 24-25, 2026 at Astra Pickleball Center, Cainta, Rizal, I, the participant, agree to the following:

Acknowledgment of Risks: I understand that participating in a pickleball tournament involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Muscle strains, sprains, and other musculoskeletal injuries
• Falls and collisions with other players or objects
• Injuries from being struck by a pickleball or paddle
• Cardiovascular events
• Heat-related illnesses
• Other injuries, illnesses, or accidents

Assumption of Risks: I freely and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Tournament, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties (as defined below).

Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the following parties:

• Any sponsors, volunteers, officials, organizers, agents, employees, and representatives of the "Paddle Forward 2026"
• This release extends to any and all claims, demands, liabilities, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to my participation in the Tournament, including but not limited to any claims for:
• Personal injury (including death)
• Property damage or loss
• Economic loss

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, actions, and causes of action, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the Tournament, including but not limited to claims made by third parties as a result of my actions or inactions.

Medical Treatment: I authorize the Tournament organizers to seek and administer emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I agree to be responsible for all costs associated with such treatment.

Severability: If any provision of this Waiver and Release is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: This Waiver and Release constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements or understandings.
