  • About Rake the Town

    Rake the Town is a community service program that helps older adults and individuals with physical disabilities prepare their yards for winter. Volunteers donate their time to rake leaves and place them for curbside pickup.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Age 60 or older, OR
    • Have a documented physical disability

    • Weather or unforeseen circumstances may affect scheduling.
    • Active Generations is not responsible for pre-existing property conditions.
    • Leaves will be placed at the curb for collection. Active Generations cannot guarantee the exact day they will be picked up after volunteers complete the work.

  • Suggested Donation

    Rake the Town is made possible through volunteers, sponsors, and community support.
    While donations are appreciated, they are never required and no one will be denied service because they are unable to contribute.
