Below is the request for content for our AOHT campaign. We’re putting together a short social media video for our Academy of Hospitality & Tourism Campaign in September. The video will highlight what hospitality & tourism looks like in our academies.
What we’re looking for: Short video clips (10-15 seconds each) and photos of students actively working on projects, presenting, and/or participating in WBL activities. Think real work in action, not posed shots, and a short description of the project(s).
Filming tips:
- Film Vertically: Vertical videos (portrait mode) are best for Instagram Reels.
- Recording Length: When filming, make your clips longer than 10 seconds to give our team flexibility during editing. Please do not exceed 5 minutes per clip.
- Minimize Camera Movement: Slow, steady camera moves are easier for viewers to follow. Imagine you're taking a photo and frame your subject matter accordingly. Then press record for a little over 10 seconds.
- Lighting: Natural light is best. Avoid filming with the light facing behind you.
How we’ll use it:
Clips will be edited into a short video showcasing the various projects that our NAF academies of hospitality & tourism are working on across our network.
Next Steps: Please add your video clips or photos here and share a short description of the project(s) shown by Friday, 9/11.
Thank you for helping us show what hospitality & tourism education looks like in action!
