Earn-A-Bike and Learn-To-Ride alumni of all ages (parents/guardians welcome too!) are invited to join St. Louis BWorks staff and volunteers for a unique day of fall-fest fun. We'll meet with our bikes, helmets, locks, and water bottles (plus a way to carry your individual supplies -- e.g. a backpack) at the Southwestern Illinois College MetroLink station at 10:45 a.m. for a prompt 11 a.m. departure on Sunday, October 18. The group ride, led by BWorks team members, will take participants along trails for about five miles to and from the Eckert's farm in Belleville (10 miles total). At Eckert’s, we'll lock up our bikes, enjoy some ice cream and get in line for a wagon ride to pick some pumpkins. At 2:30 p.m., we'll get all participants and pumpkins situated back on our bikes (including a couple bike trailers for pumpkin-lugging purposes!) to begin our five-mile ride back to our starting point (SWIC MetroLink) for departures by approximately 3:30 p.m. Register at this link to participate! P.S. We know that many participants will be coming from the Missouri side of the river, and MetroLink is a great way to get people and bikes to places! That's partly why we've settled on the SWIC MetroLink stop as our gathering and departure point for this event. It is convenient whether you are driving or transit-ing to the bike ride. P.P.S. Does your child's bicycle need some TLC leading up to the alumni ride? Stop by BWorks (2414 Menard Street in Soulard) in the days leading up to the ride (between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, or between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday). If you stop by at least a week prior to the alumni ride with the bike, our staff and volunteers will be happy to take a look at the bike and help ensure it's trail ready!Questions about the event? Email evie@bworks.org.

Note: While we bill these as BWorks alumni adventures (geared specifically for graduates of our free youth bike classes), we strive to make them as inclusive as possible. Siblings and friends of BWorks grads may also be registered for most of our BWorks adventures *if* a parent/caregiver is riding too and takes primary responsibility for said sibling or friend. Only graduates of BWorks programs may ride without a parent/caregiver.

I understand this rule.
We need everyone's help in order to make these BWorks alumni adventures as successful and fun as they can be. Please be sure the time, date, location and other key details are on your calendar upon completing this registration form.

Got it! I understand that these fun events require preparation and communication from all involved, and I've got the details on my calendar. Those I've registered above are committed to attending and each have a bike in working order.
