Now in its 19th year, Hamiltonian is a dynamic catalyst for DC’s creative economy and a vibrant center for contemporary art in Washington, DC. Through its unique investment into the next generation of visual artists, Hamiltonian helps individuals to develop important business skills, professional experiences, and visibility to support and sustain their art career. By adding studio spaces to the organization’s offerings, it will further support the stability and growth of artists working in the area. Please note, studios are only reachable by stairs; we acknowledge and apologize that this may limit access for some.
Priority will be given to Hamiltonian Artists alumni, DC natives, DC residents (min. 3 years), and area-based international artists.
