YOUNG ALUMNA SHINING STAR REQUIREMENTS: check each box to indicate completion of the requirements.
At least two years of girl membership in the Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador program level
At least two years of adult membership between graduation and age 30
At least two years of service in any GSKH volunteer role
Current year membership and background check, if required by role
CANDLE PIN REQUIREMENTS: check each box to indicate completion of the requirements. (Troop Leaders who begin first year after Feb. 1 will not be eligible for this award until next year.)

Attend Heartland Essentials in person or virtually
Complete your first year of troop leadership (at least five months from August to May) and the intention to continue leadership in the following membership year.

Complete 536 GSKH Outdoor Basics and in person Outdoor Camping or Cabin Camping
Completion of three years of troop leadership and the intention to continue leadership in the following membership year.

Plan and facility an overnight experience with your troop either through a reservation at a GSKH owned property or with an approved travel application for an overnight at other locations.
Attended an Ignite Leadership Training (online, in person, or overnight).
Have held (or currently hold) a leadership position in Service Unit (ex: Manager, Finance, Community, Events, Mentor, etc).
Have served (or currently serve) on council or Service Unit committee.
Have served as Troop Cookie Manager and/or Troop Fall Product Manager.
