Eligibility: Open to residents of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma age 18 or older. The nominated teacher must currently work at a K-12 school or licensed preschool in one of the 11 Westco store communities: Cassville MO, Chanute KS, Columbus KS, Grove OK, Iola KS, Miami OK, Monett MO, Neosho MO, Parsons KS, Pittsburg KS, and Vinita OK. Westco employees and their immediate families are not eligible.
Entry Period: Nominations accepted from Thursday, August 13, 2026 through Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central.
How to Enter: Comment on the official giveaway post on the Westco Home Furnishings Facebook page with the teacher's town, school, and grade or subject taught. Nominations sent by private message, email, or on any other post will not be counted. You may nominate as many teachers as you like, and teachers may nominate themselves. Multiple nominations of the same teacher do not increase their chances.
Winner Selection: One winner per store community, 11 winners total, selected at random from eligible nominations in that community on or about August 31, 2026. Odds depend on the number of nominations received in each community. Sponsor's decisions are final.
Prize: One $300 Amazon.com gift card and a Westco Teacher Appreciation certificate per winner. Total value of all prizes is $3,300. No substitution or cash equivalent. Taxes are the winner's responsibility. Winners are responsible for confirming that accepting the prize complies with their school district's gift policy.
Claiming Your Prize: Winners will be announced on the Westco Home Furnishings Facebook page on or about September 1, 2026 and contacted by Messenger, phone, or email. Prizes are picked up in person at your local Westco store between September 1 and September 12, 2026 with valid photo ID. If you can't make it in during that window, contact your local Westco store before September 12 and we'll arrange another way to get it to you. Prizes unclaimed by September 12 without alternate arrangements may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
Publicity: By accepting a prize, winners agree that Westco may use their name, town, school, and photo in advertising without further compensation. Winners will sign a photo release at pickup.
General: Sponsor may disqualify any entry it believes is fraudulent or in violation of these rules, and may modify or cancel the giveaway if it cannot run as planned. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, or not received.
