Running Club: Bolt Coast Running

I voluntarily choose to participate in runs, walks, group exercise, stretching, calisthenics, social activities, and other activities organized or facilitated by Bolt Coast Running (the "Club").

I understand that running and physical exercise involve inherent and other risks, including, without limitation, falls; collisions with vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, animals, or other participants; uneven or defective roads, sidewalks, trails, and other surfaces; traffic; weather and heat; dehydration; overexertion; and other risks associated with strenuous physical activity. These risks may result in serious injury, illness, property damage, permanent disability, or death.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

I understand that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate safely. I am responsible for selecting my own pace and level of activity and for stopping or modifying my participation when appropriate.

I understand that the Club, its organizers, run leaders, exercise leaders, and volunteers are not providing medical advice, medical supervision, or individualized fitness instruction. I agree to follow applicable traffic laws and exercise reasonable care for my own safety and the safety of others.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, I RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE Bolt Coast Running, AND ITS ORGANIZERS, FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, RUN LEADERS, EXERCISE LEADERS, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASED PARTIES"), FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO MY PARTICIPATION IN CLUB ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY.

I understand that by signing this agreement I am giving up legal rights that I or others acting on my behalf might otherwise have against the Released Parties. This release is not intended to waive any claim that cannot lawfully be waived under Florida law.

If I experience an apparent medical emergency and am unable to make decisions for myself, I authorize Club organizers or participants to contact emergency medical services on my behalf. I understand that the Club does not undertake or guarantee responsibility for providing medical care.

I understand that participation in the Club is voluntary and currently provided without charge. I understand that Club organizers, run leaders, exercise leaders, and volunteers may be unpaid volunteers and that participation is at my own risk.

I understand that any food, beverage, restaurant, bar, or other social gathering before or after a Club activity is voluntary. I am responsible for my own transportation, food and beverage choices, alcohol consumption, and personal safety associated with such activities.

This agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND THAT IT INCLUDES AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING A RELEASE OF CLAIMS ARISING FROM ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS.
