Required for OSP Training at Laney College

All OSP athletes training at Laney College must enroll in the Laney Track & Field class.

For youth athletes, a parent or guardian must complete enrollment on the athlete’s behalf.

Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Oakland Speed Project activities, including training, practices, events, and races, involves inherent risks of injury. I confirm that I/my child am physically able to participate and voluntarily assume these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I release and hold harmless Oakland Speed Project, its coaches, volunteers, affiliates, sponsors, and venue partners from claims arising from participation, including claims resulting from ordinary negligence.

I authorize emergency medical care if needed and accept responsibility for associated costs. If signing for a participant under 18, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree on the participant’s behalf.
