Avoid touching, picking, scratching or rubbing the skin.
Avoid wetting the face (treated area), steam rooms, saunas and excessive heat.
Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating.
Avoid swimming, spas and chlorinated water.
Avoid makeup for the period recommended by your therapist.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
For 5–7 Days
Avoid active or exfoliating products unless your therapist has advised otherwise, including:
Retinol / Vitamin A
AHA or BHA acids
Exfoliating scrubs
Enzymes or peels
Strong Vitamin C or other stimulating actives
At-home exfoliation devices or treatments
Continue with your PNB-prescribed cleanser, moisturiser and SPF.
What You May Notice
Depending on the corrective peel performed, your skin may experience:
Day 1–2: Warmth, tightness, mild redness or sensitivity.
Day 2–5: Dryness, flaking or visible peeling may occur.
Day 5–7: The skin generally begins to settle and feel smoother as the renewal process progresses.
Everyone's skin responds differently, so visible peeling is not required for the treatment to be effective.
Important
Do not pick or manually remove peeling skin. Allow it to shed naturally.
Protect your skin from sun exposure and after post peel has been performed wear and reapply SPF throughout the day when outdoors.
If you experience a reaction that feels unexpected, severe or concerning, contact Perth Natural Beauty for advice.
Your Next Treatment
Follow the treatment schedule recommended by your PNB therapist. Corrective skin treatments achieve their best results when professional treatments, appropriate homecare and daily sun protection work together.
