  • Inspire Financial Assistance (IFA) For Public University Entrance 2026 Application Form

  • INSPIRE Society was formed by a group of concerned USM Indian Graduates to help the needy Indian students through Inspire Financial Assistance (IFA). The funds for IFA are from donations received from Inspire Members, USM Alumni (including their family and friends), well wishers and in the recent years, from our very own past IFA recipients.

    Our Motto: Educate a child & Uplift a family.

     

    INSPIRE is inviting eligible Malaysian Indian students to apply for this financial assistance. A sum of not exceeding RM 3,000.00 per student will be given to the successful applicants to help with their initial Entrance Fees, expenses and to ease the financial burden while waiting for the PTPTN loan to be released. The applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

    1.  Malaysian citizens of Indian origin, from families with a monthly household income less than RM4500.
    2. Have been offered placement for their First Year in their First Degree in Local Public Universities.
    3. Having difficulties paying the initial University Entrance Fees and expenses.
    4. Have NOT obtained any financial assistance from other parties or organisations.

    The application form submission requires 3 separate supporting documents which are listed below to be uploaded.

    1. A copy of your Acceptance Letter / Offer Letter from your university.
    2. A letter stating your university fees and registration fees.
    3. A copy of your STPM, Matriculation, or equivalent results.
    4. All other documents as stated in the application form.


    Do note that this is not an award for high achievers but for those who are in need of financial assistance. Only students who fulfill all the above criteria are invited to apply by filling up the attached form. We may do house visits and / or phone calls to confirm the above criteria are complied with. Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted.

    All of us at Inspire Society appeal for responsible actions with integrity from all the stakeholders supporting IFA2026 to ensure the truly deserving students receive the financial assistance.

    Results of those who are selected to receive IFA2026 is expected to be announced 2-3 weeks after the closing date and ALL successful recipients MUST attend the face to face or online award ceremony that will be held to award the assistance. The exact date will be announced once finalised. Failure to attend the event will result in the award being declined.
