  • Thank you for participating in this year’s SF Music Day. To promote your performance, please complete* the following form by the deadline specified in the email accompanying this request. Your submitted responses will be used in all SF Music Day public communications (program book, website, social media, press coverage, etc.). After completing the form, we will reach out with an opportunity to review and confirm materials before we go to print.

    *If you have a press kit (or media) available on your website that includes the requested materials, please share specific, applicable URLs in the form below.

    Please provide genres / traditions that most closely describe the kind of music you will present at SF Music Day. Provide at least one, up to three (3), genre descriptors, in the order you would like them to appear. Below are examples of how your genres / traditions will be displayed in our materials.

    Example 1 (three genres):

  • This will be used in the SF Music Day festival program book, press release, website, newsletter, and social media communications. 

    At minimum, you should include an artist bio. Optionally, you may include program highlights, such as specific pieces or works you will perform, as well as a short, promotional tagline describing you or your ensemble (e.g., “A genre-defying ensemble blending electronic sound and classical repertoire”).

  • Links to Audio + Video Samples [RECOMMENDED]:

  • We are looking to include links to audio and video samples of our performers on our website and newsletter. Please provide one or two publicly accessible audio and/or video links that best represent the music you plan to perform at SF Music Day.

    Links should lead to samples that do not require a login, subscription, or download. For example, they should ideally lead to platforms like Bandcamp, YouTube, or Vimeo. Sharing samples is encouraged but entirely optional; we understand that not every ensemble has publicly available recordings or videos to share.
