Please note the following when making requests:
1. Seat requests will be honored ONLY with confirmation from the Treasurer that membership dues, seat fees and all outstanding obligations have been paid or are subject to a confidential and acceptable arrangement with the Treasurer or the Chairman of the Vaad. Thank you for your understanding.
2. The seating committee will accommodate seat requests and preferences as much as possible. But it is unfortunately not always possible to accommodate every request. Therefore, please feel free to indicate in the comment section what is important to you (e.g. not near a window, not near a door, a particular side of the shul, etc.).
3. Priority for seats upstairs will generally be given to (i) members over guests, (ii) older children over younger children, and (iii) building fund members who have completed payments to the building fund or maintained regular payments to the building fund over those members who have not. Please provide the full information requested so that your requests aren’t rejected!
4. If you need to make a change to your request, please resubmit the entire form with choices and make a note in the comment section that you are sending in a replacement for the prior request.
5. Note that there is always excess demand for the first two rows of the women's section upstairs and for the upstairs section generally. It is likely given the demand for seating upstairs that if you request more than two seats upstairs, that some of you will be seated upstairs and some downstairs. Beginning this year we have 30 comfortable chairs (made of fabric and metal frames) in the downstairs women’s section in the Bet Medrash – more than half of those sitting downstairs will be able to benefit from this development.
