HER AI ADVANTAGE WORKSHOP
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Date: September 17, 2026
Time: 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Location: Valley Chamber of Commerce Building, Kentville
Eligibility and Registration
Her AI Advantage is offered exclusively to members of the Valley Women’s Business Network. Space is limited to 20 participants, and advance registration is required.
Workshop Level and Format
This is an entry-level workshop designed to introduce participants to the practical use of artificial intelligence. Each participant will receive a workbook.
The workshop will follow a firm two-hour schedule to ensure that all planned material is covered. Questions directly related to the scheduled content are welcome; however, advanced instruction, extensive troubleshooting or individualized training cannot be accommodated during the workshop. Additional or more in-depth training may be booked separately following the event.
Arrival and Late Admission
Please arrive no later than 6:40 p.m. to check in, receive your workbook and get settled.
The workshop will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., and the entrance door will be closed at that time to prevent interruptions. Unfortunately, anyone arriving after 7:00 p.m. will not be admitted.
Devices and Cell Phone Use
A laptop is not required to participate. However, if you would like to practise prompting during the workshop, you are welcome to bring a laptop, tablet or phone. Please ensure that your device is fully charged before arriving, as access to charging outlets may be limited.
This is a focused, cell phone-free learning environment. All ringers, notifications and device sounds must remain turned off for the duration of the workshop. Phones may only be used when participating in a workshop exercise or in the event of an emergency.
Technology and Responsible AI Use
Participants are responsible for their own devices, passwords and access to any AI platforms they wish to use. The presenter and venue cannot be held responsible for technical difficulties, internet connectivity, device issues or problems accessing individual accounts.
AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete or biased and should always be reviewed and verified. Participants must not enter confidential client information, passwords, financial details, private personal information or proprietary business information into an AI platform during the workshop.
Privacy and Respectful Participation
Participants are expected to respect the privacy, ideas and experiences of others. Personal stories, business information and examples shared during the workshop should remain confidential unless permission has been given to share them.
Respectful participation is required at all times. Disruptive, discriminatory or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the workshop.
Cost and Community Donations
There is no charge to attend Her AI Advantage. In place of a registration fee, participants are warmly invited to bring a donation of unopened diapers or feminine hygiene products for the local food bank. Donations are appreciated but are not required to attend.
Cancellations
Because attendance is limited to 20 participants, please notify the organizer at info@DeannaByrne.com as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend. This will allow your space to be offered to another member.
Participant Agreement
By registering for Her AI Advantage, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
