    We’re excited to host Wendell Chess Club’s first officially rated tournament scheduled for Saturday, September 12!

    We hope those who joined us for our recent unrated tournament had a chance to learn, gain some experience, and get a better idea of what to expect in an official tournament setting.

    If you’re new to rated tournaments or have questions about tournament rules, etiquette, notation, or what to expect, feel free to reach out to us. We’re happy to help you prepare!

    Registration:
    💵 Early Registration: $20 — August 27 through September 6
    đź’µ After September 6: $25

    đź’µ Day of Tournament: $30

     

    If you register early and would like to pay cash, please select that payment option. We will have a running list of when people register and we will collect $20 from you day of or if we see you before the tournament. (Same if you register between September 7-11, and you would like to pay cash, we will collect $25 from you instead of $30)

    Registration fees go toward the tournament prize pool and club materials* (prize is based off of percentage of people that register). First place in each section will win cash, second place prize will be items donated to the club.
