  • Showcase Your Best Bite

    HWCC is selecting 20 Asian-owned restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and food businesses to be Featured Culinary Partners at the 20th Annual HWCC Business Awards.

    Showcase your food and introduce your business to approximately 300 entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate partners, and community members from across Wisconsin.

     

    What You Bring

    One signature Best Bite served as 300 small tasting samples.

    This is not 300 full servings or meals. Your Best Bite should be a small sample that gives guests a taste of what your business does best.

    Examples include one dumpling, one wing, a small skewer, a small portion of noodles, a small pastry, or another bite-sized specialty.

     

    What HWCC Provides

    • $500 stipend after the event to help offset food and supply costs
    • Promotion as a Featured Culinary Partner
    • Exposure to approximately 300 event guests
    • Plastic utensils and tasting trays for guests


    Your Space & Setup

    Each Culinary Partner will receive:

    • One table with tablecloth
    • Two chairs
    • Space to display business signage or a pop-up banner
    • Setup beginning at 2:00 PM

    Partners should bring their food, serving utensils, warmers or other equipment needed, gloves, displays, and other supplies needed to serve their Best Bite.

     

    What to Expect

    Culinary Partners must be onsite to serve their Best Bite throughout the 5:00–8:00 PM event. Load-out begins at 8:00 PM, and all partners must exit by 9:00 PM. More information to follow.

     

    Prohibited Items

    Alcohol, illegal goods, and items deemed unsafe or inappropriate by event organizers may not be distributed or sold at the event.

  • Culinary Partner Agreement Acknowledgement

    By submitting this interest form, I acknowledge that:

    • Submission of this form does not guarantee participation. HWCC will select Culinary Partners and provide additional instructions to those selected.
    • If selected, I agree to provide approximately 300 small tasting portions of my approved Best Bite and have a representative onsite to serve during the event.
    • I understand the $500 stipend will be provided after successful participation to help offset food and supply costs.
    • I agree to follow applicable event, venue, food safety, licensing, and participation requirements.
    • I understand that HWCC may request changes to any food item, equipment, or setup that does not meet event or venue requirements.
    • If I am unable to participate, I will notify HWCC as soon as possible. Businesses that do not participate will not receive the stipend.
    • I give HWCC permission to photograph or record my business, food, and participating representatives during the event and use that content for event and organizational promotion.
