Kennedale High School provides every student in grades 10-12 with mulitple, free on-campus opportunities to take the ASVAB CEP each year.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.
- Registration is free and open to students in grades 10-12.
- Results will be distributed to local recruiters.
- Students will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters to discuss scores and enlistment options.
- Students who score an 81 or above can qualify for ROTC scholarships at colleges and universities.

To join the U.S. military, you need a minimum Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score between 30 and 36, depending on your branch of service and whether you have a high school diploma or a GED.
