Job Description
Rise is hiring a hard-working, enthusiastic person to join our team. The position would entail both front and back of house duties, approximately 3-4 (9+hr) days/week
Reports to: Manager on Duty and Owner
Front of House Tasks:
- Running front register from open to close (6:15am - 3:30pm)
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Overseeing the dining room and outside garden area, keeping it tidy and clean throughout the day
- Assisting barista by labeling and preparing cups to be filled
- Communicating with back of house
- Managing flow of online and in-person orders
- Assisting in dishwashing, putting away order, and side work
- Restocking stations
- Closing and cleaning duties each day
- Attending occassional staff meetings
Back of House Tasks:
- Preparing made-to-order food for customers from open to close (6:15 or 8:00am - 3:30pm)
- Serving customers food either to-go or for enjoying in our shop
- Handling side work lists for preparing sauces, burrito prep and all food items
- Putting away orders as they are delivered
- Restocking stations
- Closing and cleaning duties each day.
- Attending occassional staff meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Excels in customer service
- Restaurant and/or hospitality experience
- Has a love of cooking and being in a kitchen
- Enjoys speaking with a wide variety of people
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Organized and able to work independently
- Prioritizes cleanliness and keeps station tidy and sanitized
- Ability to work quickly but retain attention to detail
- 2 Professional references
Desired
- Food Handler or Manager License/willingness to get licensed
