2026 MeleCraft Music Mentorship Program Registration Form

Mahalo for your interest in Hāpunaleo's MeleCraft Music Mentorship! We are excited to bring this program to Kona in 2026!

This program is for students/youth/young adults ages 14-22. ALL LEVELS OF TALENT, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME! Whether you are just starting to explore songwriting or have performed on stage in front of large crowds, we invite you to be a part of this program. Hāpunaleo strongly believes that everyone's voice matters and our goal is to support your musical development and journey.

Date of Program: October 23 - Audition Night, October 24 - All Day Program

Audition Night Time: 5pm - 8:30pm

Location: Kona, Hawaiʻi Island (location address will be shared after we receive your registration form)

Please come to your audition prepared to perform a song between 1 -2 minutes long (please do not exceed the 2 min. max). Original songs are preferred, but not required. Please bring your instrument or computer as needed. Please also bring your musical art in one of the following formats:

Poetry/Lyrics/Songwriting
- Live performance/recite
- Handwritten
- Pre-recorded
Singing
- Live performance (original or cover)
- Pre-recorded
Instrument
- Live performance (must provide your own instrument and/or any accessories/cables)
- Pre-recorded
Music Producing/Arranging/Engineering
- Live performance
- Pre-recorded

Invitations to Saturday's full program day will be announced at the end of audition night. This will be an opportunity to learn more about songwriting and the music industry and gain essential knowledge and skills from some of Hawaiiʻs leading musicians.
