Presented by Ke Kukui Foundation in partnership with Hālau Kaleinani O Ke Kukui
  •  ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Youth Hula Scholarship Program was created to expand access to hula and Hawaiian cultural learning for youth and families experiencing financial barriers to participation, with a particular focus on increasing cultural access for Native Hawaiian youth and families with generational ties to Hawaiʻi.

We believe cost should not prevent Native Hawaiian youth from having meaningful opportunities to learn, experience, and remain connected to their culture through hula.

A limited number of scholarships are available to help make a full 12-week introductory hula experience accessible to those who may otherwise be unable to participate due to cost.

Through this partnership, Hālau Kaleinani O Ke Kukui is providing the instructional scholarship by waiving the full introductory tuition.

    Scholarship Value: $225
    Program Length: 12 weeks
Session Begins: Second week of September
    Registration Fee: $25

The scholarship covers the full $225 introductory tuition. A $25 registration fee, paid directly to Hālau Kaleinani O Ke Kukui, and will include a uniform t-shirt. Any additional supplies will not be covered.

    Continuing Your Hula Journey
The scholarship is designed to provide an entry point into sustained hula and Hawaiian cultural learning.

After the 12-week scholarship period, standard monthly tuition will apply.
