TCG Gallery is receiving an increasing number of fee-waiver requests. To ensure that requests are handled fairly and consistently, we have standardized the process through this application and a corresponding website update. Fee-waived submissions are not free for TCG Gallery to process. Fees are not revenue for the Gallery; they help cover basic operating expenses, including submission-platform, administrative, and review costs. Full and partial waivers are available, and applicants may indicate what they can reasonably contribute. Each request is considered individually and independently of the curatorial process. Requesting or receiving a waiver has no bearing on the review or selection of submitted work. Eligibility may be based on student status in an eligible field; residence in a region where the fee is disproportionate because of local economic conditions or currency disparities; living or working under a state of war, restrictions on civil rights, or unrest; or the merit and relevance of the proposed work. No financial documentation or disclosure of personal trauma is required. Applications must be received at least 48 hours before the exhibition closes. Applicants whose requests are accepted will receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. Approved applicants must share the applicable open call on social media as a condition of receiving a full or partial waiver. A waiver does not guarantee selection for the exhibition.
